Midori Sushi
Introduction
Midori Sushi has served sushi in Northwest Austin, Texas since 1999. A live website for an Austin restaurant established in 1999, with a searchable 210-item menu and official ordering links.
The vision
27 years of Austin sushi, renewed.
GA4 setup checks ran on September 23, so these figures start after them. From September 25 to 27, 78 people opened the menu page and spent about two minutes there on average. 20 of them used the category filters and 6 searched the menu. 29 people clicked through to order on ChowNow, 21 of them after finding the site on Google. These are clicks toward an order, not completed orders.
The menu is the product
We worked from the restaurant’s official menu: ten source images, which became 24 sections and 210 entries, including beverages and the separate gluten-free preparations.
Where the standard and gluten-free versions differ in price, both prices are kept. Where the official menu does not list a price, such as lunch and bento details, we did not fill the gap with a guess. The page points guests to the hours and the phone instead.
Guests can filter by category and search by dish name or ingredient. Search runs in the browser, so it costs the restaurant nothing per query.
Two directions
Washi & Bento and Timber & Tradition.

Both directions include a switch to pause motion, respect the system’s reduced motion setting, and work without JavaScript. Ordering stays with the restaurant’s official ordering services. The site links to them.
